A logline in a 1-2 sentence summary of the movie that focuses on the main character, the conflict, and an emotional hook. Writing a logline is more difficult than it seems.
An abridged script; longer than a synopsis. It consists of a summary of each major scene of a proposed movie and may even include snippets of dialogue.

Tiffany Yancey is an award-winning screenwriter, actress, and producer with over twenty years of experience in the entertainment industry. She began her screenwriting journey in 2014 under the mentorship of Yale Professor Marc Lapadula and continued to hone her writing skills over the years.
The first film that she wrote, produced, and starred in, “Love Him or Leave Him,” received the Best Comedy award at the Urban Media Film Festival in 2015 and Best Score at the Philadelphia Independent Film Awards in 2016. Also, her Christmas comedy, “Holiday Heartbreak,” produced by Mega Mind Media, recently aired on BET networks to rave reviews in December 2020. It was recognized as “Movie of The Week” by the iconic publication Ebony magazine.
Most recently, she completed writing the rom-com “That’s Her,” which will be produced and star comedian Kountry Wayne. She is also writing, producing, and starring in a number of new indie projects, including her comedy pilot, “The Introvert Life,” and the relationship drama series, “Perfect,” that will air on various streaming platforms in 2021.
